True Essence of Christmas

Christmas is one of the most important and joyful day of a year.  The cold breeze of the air, the Christmas carols, the shimmering and bright christmas lights, lanterns hanging on the windows and christmas trees in our houses symbolizes that christmas is near.  Children and teenagers like me are excited to receive gifts and to join the christmas program in school.
But, what is really the true essence of Christmas?  Christmas is the day when our Jesus was born.  His arrival symbolizes love, joy, hope and peace.  We feel the spirit of Christmas if we learn to ask forgiveness and if we forgive those who hurt us.  The true meaning of Christmas also is that we thanked Jesus for the blessings He is giving us.  During Christmas we also forget the problems that are bothering us.  We feel very happy even though, some of us lack money.  Christmas is also the time of giving without expecting anything in return.  We feel grateful in helping others especially those in need.
Christmas is really a very joyful and glorious occasion.  We should not forget the true essence of it.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Discrimination is one of the most controversial issue today.  If we say discrimination it means unequal treatment of an individual, it may be based on their gender or membership in a certain group or category.
But we all know, that our God created and blessed us this wonderful life equally.  Each one of us are made uniquely.  We differ from each other.  We don’t  have the same status in life and mental and physical characteristics.  But above all, in the eyes of our loving Father, we are equal.  It depends on us how we will inprove and use the life He gave us.
In this world, all individual has its own equal rights.  In the beginning of our conception until we die.  We have the right to be born, to education, to vote and to have equal opportunities.  But our rights and opportunities have its corresponding duties and responsibilities.  We should abide the rules and know what is good and bad for our life.  Also, nowadays, women can now work just like men.  Women like to do what men can do.  It just that they want to compete, they just like to prove that if men can do, women could also do it.

Responding to Climate Change

Climate change is one of the most important environmental issues of our generation.  Climate changes from time to time as well as from one place to place.  Different explanations and observations could be made to know what are the causes, effects and responses we should do to cope up with the changes in our climate.  We the people has the potential of affecting our climate change.  Our daily activities can affect our climate change happening on our planet Earth.
Climate change can affect our soils and water resources.  It can affect also our agriculture, transportation and other economic activities.  But, we can also respond to this climate change if we have discipline in our self.  We should know the effects of our doings everyday.  We should do things which cannot  destroy our natural resources.  We must help in protecting and conserving our environment.Climate change not only affect one country but worldwide, so we must be observant and do things that we don't regret in the end.
