My Reflection in the Third Grading Period

Third grading has ended and its time to move toward a new chapter. It is the time to face the last grading in our school life.
New ideas have been added to my knowledge.  Many developments have done. And I’m so glad of it. This third grading period we continued to post some essays in our blogs.  We also learned new tags for the notepads and used them as the continuation part of our exercise.  One of the problems that I encountered this grading is our project, the web page.  I thought we’re not able to finish it and pass it at the right time.  But, luckily with the helping hands of our group mates we are able to pass it.   For me this grading is better than before, because this grading we learn how to link from one page to another.  And also how to use the tags in adding background color and images.  That makes me dizzy sometimes on what tags will I’m going to use in the notepad.
For that reason, this upcoming grading I will do my best, better than before, study harder, be more patient and I will listen attentively to the teacher.

New Year, New Me

It’s a novel year, and its time for a new life.  Its time to leave the past and its time to look forward to a new you.
As for me, I haven’t changed anything in myself.  I am still me.  I knew that I am a bad girl. I am a stubborn and lazy daughter & sister.  They always scold at me.  In school, sometimes I am being unkind to my classmates. And because of it others might hate me.  Being bad is wicked.  It is not good for one’s self and it might also hurt the feelings of the others.
So this novel year, I am trying my best behavior to be exemplary, so that I would become a good daughter, sister & a classmate. And this will be a great achievement to myself, as a new me.

Keeping in Mind Our Mother Tongue

Every part of the humankind has its own native language.  It is the dialect wherein the people use it to communicate other people. Other may understand it, but there will be times that other people don’t comprehend it.  Because we all know that we have our own language.
As an Ilokano, we should always make use of our own dialect, the Iloco.  It is the language wherein we understand each other.  It is easier, because we are use with it.  It is also the first word that our mother taught us. In the other hand, we are now in a novel world.  Many of us use English, Mandarin, Spanish, etc. to communicate other people.  Because of using many different languages, sometimes we forget our own mother tongue. That shouldn't happen.  Employing our own language is one way knowing where you from.  It is the place where you were born.  So, if we use our own dialect- the Iloco- we should always make use of it no matter what place we may go.  We should be proud of it, co'z it is the place where we came from.

True Essence of Christmas

Christmas is one of the most important and joyful day of a year.  The cold breeze of the air, the Christmas carols, the shimmering and bright christmas lights, lanterns hanging on the windows and christmas trees in our houses symbolizes that christmas is near.  Children and teenagers like me are excited to receive gifts and to join the christmas program in school.
But, what is really the true essence of Christmas?  Christmas is the day when our Jesus was born.  His arrival symbolizes love, joy, hope and peace.  We feel the spirit of Christmas if we learn to ask forgiveness and if we forgive those who hurt us.  The true meaning of Christmas also is that we thanked Jesus for the blessings He is giving us.  During Christmas we also forget the problems that are bothering us.  We feel very happy even though, some of us lack money.  Christmas is also the time of giving without expecting anything in return.  We feel grateful in helping others especially those in need.
Christmas is really a very joyful and glorious occasion.  We should not forget the true essence of it.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Discrimination is one of the most controversial issue today.  If we say discrimination it means unequal treatment of an individual, it may be based on their gender or membership in a certain group or category.
But we all know, that our God created and blessed us this wonderful life equally.  Each one of us are made uniquely.  We differ from each other.  We don’t  have the same status in life and mental and physical characteristics.  But above all, in the eyes of our loving Father, we are equal.  It depends on us how we will inprove and use the life He gave us.
In this world, all individual has its own equal rights.  In the beginning of our conception until we die.  We have the right to be born, to education, to vote and to have equal opportunities.  But our rights and opportunities have its corresponding duties and responsibilities.  We should abide the rules and know what is good and bad for our life.  Also, nowadays, women can now work just like men.  Women like to do what men can do.  It just that they want to compete, they just like to prove that if men can do, women could also do it.

Responding to Climate Change

Climate change is one of the most important environmental issues of our generation.  Climate changes from time to time as well as from one place to place.  Different explanations and observations could be made to know what are the causes, effects and responses we should do to cope up with the changes in our climate.  We the people has the potential of affecting our climate change.  Our daily activities can affect our climate change happening on our planet Earth.
Climate change can affect our soils and water resources.  It can affect also our agriculture, transportation and other economic activities.  But, we can also respond to this climate change if we have discipline in our self.  We should know the effects of our doings everyday.  We should do things which cannot  destroy our natural resources.  We must help in protecting and conserving our environment.Climate change not only affect one country but worldwide, so we must be observant and do things that we don't regret in the end.

Highlights in Second Grading Period

Another grading has been ended and new chapter is about to start.  In every grading there are so many things that we discover to gain new ideas.
Last second grading period, I had so much fun in our ICT subject.  I learned so many things.  We post some essays in our blog, learned how to change its templates and commented some essays in others blog.  We also learned how to make or how to use a notepad.  In this topic we had activities and we are able to know how to use the different tags/attributes in the notepad.
We cannot evade facing problems in our life, but fortunately in this grading (2nd) there are no such many problems that I encountered apart from for the slow internet connection in the computer.  It takes so long to wait for it to be done.  That’s part of it; we just need a little persistence in waiting for it, who knows sooner it’ll become faster in connection.
Moving on, a new chapter will begin.  New lessons, new problems, I must be prepare.  So I will study hard, do my best in facing these new beginning in school life, hoping to gain more and fresh ideas.
